Learn a little about the history of propaganda photography and collage and their use in photo books before diving into making some of your own. Choose a topic that matters to you then harvest and print images from the internet to rework and collage into a small propaganda zine of your own.

All the materials and tools to produce the zines will be provided by the organisers. Participants should bring a laptop (any software where you can resize images will be enough), although is not essential as collages and zines could be handmade with the tools provided by the organization . Participants will received a more detailed email of the workshop structure closer to the date. Lewis Bush is a photographer and writer. He studied history at the University of Warwick and documentary photography at the London College of Communication and now photographs commercially, as well as teaching and writes about photography. He also develops his own projects, which often employ techniques like collage, photo montage and book making.
