We are thrilled to announce our line-up for IN COMMON Photography Screening Show.

We really want to thank everybody who has been interested in this event submitting a project. We have received submissions from Canada, Russia, Spain, UK, France, US, Vietnam, Chile… making one of the most successful CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS in our short life. This wouldn’t have been possible without the help and work of Erica McDonald who brought an unique flavour into IN COMMON.

As we said, IC-Visual has curated a line-up of photographers based in the UK. We’ve got an interesting and thought-provocking selection of works by Briony Campbell & Duncan Robertson, Alice Meyers, Laura Pannack, Alice Myers and Maria Gruzdeva. Erica has chosen a terrific line-up composed of a selection of international photographers with stories from all over the world.

It has been really inspiring to see how people have interpreted this theme and hopefully this final line-up can make you think the same. We would like to extend the idea of community further showing this stories and hopefully provoking a healthy discussion about the world we are living in.

We really also appreciate Jim Mortram  his support and compromise coming to Bristol to give a talk about his work, this will be an unforgettable experience as Jim’s work is something else than just images. Jim will dig out about his influences, creative process, methodology and sustainability of his ongoing project SMALL TOWN INERTIA.

We would like to say thanks again to those who have been helping us with the promotion and diffusion of this event and hopefully you all can come and enjoy this evening with us.
